PowerGorilla: Primate Power for Laptops

I am waiting for a solar powered laptop but there hasn’t been any successful attempt. At least the new Power Gorilla from Power Traveller is getting close.

The Power Gorilla is a spare battery for your laptop that can be solar charged. This portable charger than also can serve as emergency charger when there is no power outlet available especially when you’re stuck in the wilderness.

The solar powered Powergorilla is said to recharge a laptop two and a half times before it would need recharging. Hmmm…looks like it’s gonna live up to its name.

Powergorilla will be officially released in the third quarter of 2008.
